Buckhorn Spring Craft Show
MAY 20-21, 2017 Kick off Spring by coming to this annual event that is held inside the main room at the Buckhorn Communuity Centre and all of the outside pavillions. Over 100 crafters will be on site selling their items from garden decor, clothing, jewelry and jams.

Family Paddle Day
June 28, 2017 Lakefield Beach, 5:30 p.m. Join the Lakefield Stewardship Committee and the staff at Adventure Fitness for an evening paddle on Katchewanooka Lake, in celebration of National Canoe Day. Meet at the Lakefield Beach at 5:30 p.m. Bring your canoe or kayak. Adventure Fitness will have extra canoes on hand for those who don't have one. There will be a beach barbeque after the paddle. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The 18th annual Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival invites you, your friends, and family to come to a breezy day of outdoor summer living beside Lakefield's scenic Otonabee River to enjoy a wide variety of live jazz, colourful works for sale by artisans and crafters, plus interesting catered food and ice cold beverages. The Festival website shows the final line-up of musicians. Creative artisans and crafters will be offering paintings, jewellery, furniture, carvings and weaving for sale opening at 10:00 a.m. Musicians will be performing from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. You will not want to miss this fantastic event. Last year's event had over 1,300 visitors.

Ennismore Shamrock Festival
July 21, 22 and 23, 2017 The annual July festival in Ennismore is held at the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex, 553 Ennis Road, Ennismore. It is a 3 day celebration featuring events for all age groups.

The 2017 party will begin on Friday, July 21st at the Ennismore Community Centre with an amazing fireworks show at 9:30pm! Saturday is a family day including the Optimist Club Ball Hockey and Soccer Tournament. Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. Features the annual Truck and Tractor pulls. Festival is free with the exception of the Truck and Tractor Pull which is a $5.00 per person admission (12 & Under Free)
